Signing in takes you to the part of the portal you use

FixedPortal

Signing in on a new browser or device always opened Workloads, even for node operators. The portal now remembers your view with your account, and otherwise goes by what you chose at sign-up, so operators land on their dashboard.

Signing in used to open Workloads unless this particular browser remembered otherwise. On a new computer, a new browser, after clearing cookies, or when the browser’s saved setting expired after a year, node operators landed on the customer side of the portal and had to switch back.

Update: passkey sign-ins did not follow this order until 6 October 2026. See The portal menu matches your view from the first page after sign-in.

Where you work is now saved with your account, not just in the browser. When you sign in, the portal chooses your landing page in this order:

  1. The last view you switched to. It follows you to any browser or device.
  2. What you chose when you signed up. This applies to accounts created from now on.
  3. For older accounts with neither: if you run nodes and have no workloads, you land on your dashboard. Anything else still opens Workloads.

Switching views yourself always wins, and the portal remembers the switch for next time.
