Node details no longer reset after platform updates

FixedEdge NodePortal

TL;DR: Each platform release cleared details operators had entered about their nodes — hardware, ISP and connection speed — along with badges and activity streaks. Releases now leave them intact.

When the platform was updated, nodes signed in again — and signing in rebuilt each node’s record from scratch, discarding anything the sign-in didn’t carry. That included details operators had entered by hand, such as hardware, ISP and contracted connection speed, as well as badges, activity streaks and the count of days a node had been active. Your ISP is no longer entered by hand: it is now detected from your node’s connection.

Signing in now updates the existing record instead of replacing it, so those details survive every future release.

Details cleared before this fix were not restored. If your node’s hardware, device category or contracted speed is blank in the portal, please enter them again. You don’t need to enter your ISP.
