Publish any static site with ee-cdn-cli
ee-cdn-cli publishes a folder of static files to the CDN from the command line, so sites built with Hugo, Eleventy, Jekyll, Publii or by hand can deploy without a framework-specific integration.
Until now the only supported way to publish was the Astro integration. Most static sites aren’t Astro, so ee-cdn-cli takes the output folder of any build and publishes it:
npx @evolving-edge/ee-cdn-cli ./public --domain www.example.com --project proj_…
It reads your deploy token from EE_CDN_TOKEN, packages the folder, uploads it, and tells you how to confirm the domain is serving. --dry-run packages without uploading.
Publii: set deployment to Manual, which writes your site to a folder, then point ee-cdn-cli at that folder.
The Astro integration is in the same package, at @evolving-edge/ee-cdn-cli/astro. Leave out its deploy target and it builds and checks your site, encrypted sub-workloads included, without uploading anything or needing a token.
Our blog and this changelog now publish with the same package, installed from npm.
