A manually forwarded port now counts toward gateway eligibility

FixedPortal

Operators who had forwarded a port by hand were still told to forward one. The eligibility check only looked at endpoints discovered by UPnP, and ignored the address the control plane was already recording from every heartbeat.

If you forwarded a port on your router by hand, the gateway eligibility list told you to go and forward a port. Your node was reachable, the control plane was recording your public address from every heartbeat, and the requirement still showed as unmet.

The check looked at two things: an endpoint discovered automatically by UPnP, and the address your heartbeats actually arrive from. For a manual port forward there is nothing for UPnP to discover, so the first is empty by design and the second was the only evidence — and the second was never being passed through to the page that does the checking.

The result was an operator being sent to troubleshoot a port forward that already worked.

Both are now counted. If your node is reachable, the requirement passes, however you made it reachable.
