The edge node now runs on 32-bit ARM
The edge node now builds for 32-bit ARM (armv7), covering the Raspberry Pi 2, 3 and 4 on a 32-bit operating system. Binary installs only for now; there is no container image for armv7 yet.
32-bit ARM was the one common edge-hardware target without a build. It covers the Raspberry Pi 2, 3 and 4 running a 32-bit operating system — a large share of the Pis already sitting in drawers and on shelves.
This is a binary build. There isn’t an armv7 container image yet, so the Docker and Home Assistant routes still need 64-bit hardware.
