Passkey sign-in to the portal works again

FixedPortal

Signing in to the portal with a passkey failed for several weeks, because a security certificate one of our sign-in domains depends on had expired. Password sign-in kept working throughout, as did nodes and the sites they serve.

Signing in to the portal with a passkey failed for several weeks. The attempt ended in an error rather than signing you in.

A security certificate for one of the domains the passkey check depends on had expired and hadn’t renewed. Passkeys are tied to the exact domain they were created for, so that check couldn’t complete.

What kept working: password sign-in, so the portal stayed reachable. Nodes, the content they serve, and payouts were never affected — this was only the passkey step of signing in.

The certificate has been renewed and passkey sign-in has been confirmed working end to end. There’s nothing for you to do, and your existing passkey still works; you don’t need to register a new one. If you switched to password sign-in while this was broken, you can go back to your passkey.
