Payout requests now respect the minimum balance
TL;DR: The Earnings page offered a payout on any balance above zero, even though payouts have a minimum. Requests are now checked against the minimum, and the page tells you how far your balance is from it.
Payouts have a minimum balance, currently $20. The Earnings page didn’t know that: it offered Request Payout to anyone with a balance above zero, and the request would have been accepted.
Now:
- The minimum is enforced when a payout is requested, not only when the button is shown, so a below-minimum request is refused however it arrives.
- The page tells you where you stand: “Minimum payout is $20.00 — you have $5.00.” The figure comes from the live setting, so it follows any change to the minimum.
- If the minimum can’t be read, no payout is offered, rather than guessing.
Two payout controls that looked clickable but did nothing are now plainly inactive: the Request Payout button, and the Update payout account link, which you’ll use once you’re eligible for your first payout.
